‘Three Meters and a Few Centimeters’ to vie at Viva filmfest

Iranian doc ‘Three Meters and a Few Centimeters’ is to vie at the 2021 Viva Film Festival in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Iranian documentary ‘Three Meters and a Few Centimeters’ has been selected to compete at the seventh edition of the Viva Film Festival in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Made by Mostafa Salehinejad, the documentary centers on the issue of COVID-19 and the situation caused by the pandemic.

It tells the story of a few people who are volunteered to wash the body of coronavirus victims for burial.

It’s worth mentioning, according to the obligations of Islam, when someone dies, the body must be washed by hand in order to move on to the hereafter cleansed.

The documentary has previously participated in some international festivals in Japan, Sweden, Russia and the US.

Lunched in 2015, the Viva Film Festival is comprised of two parts of screening films and holding workshops.

The attendees can enjoy the films and participate in the workshops.

The 2021 edition of the event will be held on September 22-26 in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
